Harrington, Lethbridge, Alberta. Here is my Beaver RX550. I
bought it new in 1987 and installed ASAP's wing conversion in
1997. The Beaver is a very robust airplane with no unpleasant
surprises. I have updated most of the parts to where it is
essentially now a Beaver RX550 Plus. The wing conversion
dramatically improved the handling and increased the cruise
speed about 10 mph. The engine is the original Rotax 503 DC. I
very much enjoy cross country flying and camping trips, often
loading more than 100 pounds of gear into the back seat. I
have put about 300 hours on the airplane since the wing
conversion. Thanks to ASAP for the great customer service and
keeping a great airplane like the Beaver alive. |
